How To Link Your GoDaddy Domain To Your Weebly Website

Getting a domain name for your website make things look more serious and you must search or ask people about the best hosting company for your website.

Today I have decide to bring a tutorial on how to link your godaddy domain to your weebly website all you need to do is to follow the step below carefully.






Step 1
First you need to log in to your GoDaddy Account using your customer number and password.




Step 2
Now you will have to click on  "Launch" next to Domains.





Step 3
Now click "Use My Domain" on your preferred domain name which yoy will like to link to your Weebly site.




Step 4
Click "Connect to an Existing Site".




Step 5
Choose the Weebly option under the Websites section.

Click "connect domain"

Now visit www.weebly.com and then log in to your account.






Step 8
Then click on the "Edit" button next to rge site you want to link your domain name to.





Step 9
Now click on the "settings" button and  then click "change" below your "site address".





Step 10
Choose "connect a domain you already own".





Step 11
Finally Enter your domain name and then click "continue"

  • The Hostname (i.e. the www and * records)

  • The Address the Hostname Points To (i.e. our 199.34.228.59 IP Address.

  • The Record Type (i.e. the type of record is an "A" Record.  There are other types you can select, but you always want to use A Record).

And always remember that it can take your registrar up to 48 hours to update their servers with a change like this one.
