The custom header is Different from the default header being set down for you by blogger, the default header comprises of your blog description and the title.
Using the custom header I think is the best for you.
Don’t you think you can change the default header or are you finding it difficult? why not try this out.
Login to your blogger account and then select your blog from the blogger dashboard.
Then you will have to scroll your mouse down and click on template
On the template page click on edit html code and then backup your template.
Now click on your html code and then press CTRL+F on your keyboard and then search for the codes below
<b:section class=’header’id=’header’ maxiwidget=’1′ showaddelement=’no’>
<b:widget id=’Header1′ locked=’true’ title=’YOUR_BLOG_TITLE (Header)’type=’Header’/>
Now you will have to do some little arrangement to the code above by changing so things listed below.
maxiwidget=’1′ to maxiwidget=’2′
So after doing that your code should look like this
<b:section class=’header’ id=’header’ maxiwidget=’2′ showaddelement=’yes’>
<b:widget id=’Header1′ locked=’true’ title=’YOUR_BLOG_TITLE(Header)’ type=’Header’/>
Now after doing all the necessary changes then click on the save template button at the top.
Now go back to your blogger layout button and then click on edit tab this is located after the navbar.
Now there will be a pop up window just click on Remove button below and that’s all now you add what ever gadget you want.
Don’t forget to drop your comment down if you have any problem thanks.
