How To Add Paypal For Donations On Your Wordpress Site

PayPal is an American company operating a worldwide online payments system. Online money transfers serve as electronic alternatives to traditional paper methods like checks and money orders.

Step 1
First you need to log in to your PayPal account using your username or password

Step 2
Now click the "Merchant Services" at the top right side of your of the screen.

Click the "Donate" link below the "Create Buttons" section at the left hand side of your dashboard.


Step 4
Choose "Donations" in the drop down box underneath "Select Payments for"  category.

Step 5
Now Click the check boxes to select other options such as showing credit card logos and the button size and then Click "Create Button" when finished.

Step 6
Now Click on the "Email" tab to show the email HTML codes which you will have  to make use of in your site.

Step 7
CTRL+C  OR  Copy the HTML that is below the "Email" tab.

Step 8
Then create a post, page or text widget where you would like the donation button to appear. Click "HTML" to make sure the HTML input screen is showing on a post or a page. Paste the PayPal email code into the HTML interface.

Step 9
Finally Click on "Update" to save the code and that's all.
