Step 1
First for you to be able to Install WordPress on XAMPP you will need to download and install or save the new version of wordpress  by click  hereNow you have to extract the zip file title to the htdocs folder within the XAMPP directory.If that process was successful there will be a new directory  called WordPress within xampphtodocs directory.

Step 2
Now you will have to go to the XAMPP  web page by clicking here.

Step 3
Now in that page at the bottom you will find this phpMyAdmin or you click here to get it direct.

Step 4
Now in that page I mean the phpMyAdmin  you will see MySQL.

Step 5
Now you will have to create a  new database just d that by inserting the word  wordpress  leveled collation then choose utf8_Unicode_ci then click on create.

Step 6
Make sure you use Windows explorer then navigate to xampphtdocswordpress directory then open a file title wp-config-sample.php I’m that same wordpress directory.

Change the following lines
/*The name of the database for wordpress */define(DB_NAME’,’database_name_here’)

Step 7
After doing all the Editting  copy it as wp-config.php” into the wordpress directory.

Step 8
Visit the wordpress page and enter this url htt://local/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
