Create AdSense Matched Content Unit

Matched content is a free service that promotes relevant content from your site to your site's visitors,

First you need to check out your site, you may also be able to show ads in between your recommendations. Ads are only available for sites that can be well monetized. The AdSense program policies still apply to pages containing Matched content units. They are not eligible for use in experiments.


Lets first create a matched content unit and later we will discus how to setup and show matched content native ads in blogspot blogs.

First we need to Sign in to your AdSense account.

Select "Size" section, choose "Responsive" if your blogger template is mobile responsive else choose custom. When using a custom size, AdSense recommends to choose an ad size with a width:height ratio of around 2:1 for a horizontal layout, or 1:2 for a vertical layout.

Can I purchase a domain from Godaddy and host it in Hostgator?

Yes, you can purchase a domain from GoDaddy (or any Domain Registrar) and then host it on HostGator (or elsewhere) if you wish.

I have two points of advice for you however;


  1. There are better Domain Registrars than GoDaddy and better hosts than HostGator.
  2. It is easier to purchase your domain and your hosting from the same provider.

GoDaddy is certainly one of the most popular Domain Registrars, along with NameCheap, but I would recommend starting elsewhere.

Lesser known Domain Registrars like WPX Hosting can provide benefits that the bigger-name companies do not - such as free WHOIS Privacy.

WPX’s Domain Privacy cannot be found for free anywhere else online and is certainly a huge benefit for starting off a new site.

While HostGator may be a better choice for hosting than the likes of GoDaddy or Bluehost, they are not leagues ahead. HostGator are still an EIG company just like Bluehost, though they only suck slightly less to be frank.

HostGator’s service is still quite lacklustre when compared with other, non-EIG companies and their customer support is also reportedly poor - a common symptom of EIG ownership.

Choosing an independent hosting company is a far better option and will save you more money and stress in the long-run. Companies like WPX Hosting, SiteGround, Temok, and WordPress(dot)com will be able to offer a more reliable service with value for money.

Being able to purchase your domain and your hosting from one place is ideal! While GoDaddy might be the tempting choice here, their poor hosting and terrible customer relations (selling personal info) spoil that possibility.

Godaddy India vs Bluehost India vs Hostgator India: Honest Review

Actually have been blogging for almost 5 years. In my 5 years of blogging experience, I have created up-to 10 blogs related to different niches including health care, job updates, news site and many sites related to different Niches.

I will share my experience about what I learned in my blogging experience.



To be honest, I had only 1 goal in the beginning that is I wanted to earn money online. So, I tried different niches through which I can get a lot of traffic as well as money. For e.x: I created a blog on healthcare where I used to share health tips but because I hadn’t got any knowledge in health care so I finally closed that blog because I hadn’t got enough content.

Then I started job updates blog but that blog had also not given me enough response but I had earned up to $200 from Google Adsense. However, my account was blocked from Google because of their policy. Similarly, I created many blogs like that.

As a fresher, you can easily understand that how difficult it is to find a niche (blog category) and domain name etc. But I can say that my blogging failure has helped me a lot in learning different concepts of Digital Marketing.

Because in my starting 2 years blogging journey, I hadn’t got a “Credit Card” so I was not able to buy hosting plans which were in ($). So, I just bought hosting from India servers or companies which were accepting Indian currency.

My first hosting company was Godaddy. You know why, just because it was cheap and every fresher go for the cheapest option. So, I purchased a domain name and hosting(2 years plan to save maximum). But friend frankly I must say that Godaddy had totally disappointed me.

Why? Because of its slowest speed. My blogs were taking a lot of time to load which was creating a bad user experience and because of this, no body liked to visit my blog. This was not only creating a bad user experience but slow loading website is not at all liked by search engines like Google.

Based on my 3 years of blogging experience, I can say that the best Hosting provider for Indian server is Hostgator India.

In terms of speed, I can say that a blog hosted on Godaddy takes up-to 20–25 seconds to load while on Bluehost India it takes 10 seconds to load while on Hostgator India it takes only 3-5 seconds to load. So, I advise my subscribers to go for Hostgator India. This is because loading time is the biggest SEO factor in ranking a website/blog on top of search engines.

2. Customer Support:

To be honest, I can say that I had a good technical support from Bluehost India as well as Hostgator India. But I had a very bad experience with Go Daddy.

Money-back Guarantee is provided by all three companies. So, you can try these companies without worring about loosing your money. But, to save your time i suggest you to go for Hostgator India if your targeted audience is mainly from India.




5. Solid/Reliability

Every time your web site goes down, so does your number of visitors. If you lose visitors, then you lose profit, members, reputation, etc. You cannot afford for your web site to be down—even for a short amount of time!
